It's pouring here, too. Better to look at these great shots than go for a walk and get soaked! These are magic, as ever, Nessa. I like the blues in the last one very much. God bless.
Those are amazing and beautiful. I remember when I was in high school and the Soviets put up the first Sputnik satellite, I climbed on the roof of our garage and opened the lens while it passed and was so excited when I developed it, even though it was just a thin light streak over a black sky. It was History. In your picture, I see a dog's face in the middle cloud.
We have experienced grey skies here as well for several consecutive days. These are nice shots but my favourite has to be the starry sky. I can not seem to capture a night shot that I have been happy with!
KC: Hi. I like your puppy. I've taken many night time sky shots and don't care for most. I have a night time setting on my camera that I'm going to try but I need to use my tripod for it. It extends the length the shutter is open and my hands shake too much for that. It looks like the stars are moving at high rates of speed.

Sandy: Thanks. I like the rain if I get to stay home but I am off to the dentist.
Nice photos.
It`s pouring down here also.
It`s good to look back then.
On previous shots.
My post is from last summer.
Nice pictures! We had our rain last night and now sunny skies.
howdy.
that second shot is particularly interesting - looks like you got a shot of the galaxy ;-]

Well, we not only had rain but a tornado as you will see on my site. . .
Interesting photos -- each unique!
It is always nice to have some pictures in the "freezer" when the rain sets in. No. 3 for me: Moon an Venus right before sun-up!
Great Sky Watch post!
Amazing Sky Watch post!
Great sky watch pictures.
Welcome all you new folks. I’ll be by to see you soon.
Ida: So I’m not the only one who didn’t like the look of today.
Dot: We’re still waiting for the sun.
Gaz: That’s what I thought too.
T & I: That would have been cool. I want to get a telescope to get a better look. I see a doggie too.
Paulie: Can’t wait to see that.
Runee: Is that Venus? I never know.
Misty Dawn: Thank you.
Andrea: And thank you too.
loved the pictures. We had nothing here.. no rain nor snow.
Katie: We are completely clear today but are getting wet snow tomorrow.

The one in the middle is breathtaking. Is that smoke? Cigarette? Beautiful!
Ariel: I think it was the exhaust from the cars warming up; D
